Online Spanish Conversation Classes: Speak Spanish 1-on-1 with a Native Teacher
You understand more than you can say. Let’s fix that: you talk, I listen, and we turn your mistakes into progress.
For A2 learners and above · 100% in Spanish · From €28 per lesson
How our online Spanish conversation lessons work
Each lesson is a real conversation, not a lecture. You speak for most of the hour. I guide, correct and push you a little further than feels comfortable.
You choose the topic: travel, film, work or daily life
Tell me what you want to talk about. Some students prepare for a work meeting, others want to tell a story from their last trip or discuss a film.
I bring the vocabulary and structures that topic needs. You leave able to say it better next time.
I also love travel, cinema, books and food from around the world, so we never run out of things to talk about.
Live 1-on-1 on Google Meet, 100% in Spanish
- One hour, just you and me.
- Spanish from the first minute. I adapt my speed and vocabulary so you can follow.
- No app to install: you only need the Meet link.
Written corrections after every conversation
While we talk, I take notes of your mistakes without interrupting your flow. After the lesson, you receive the corrections in writing: what you said, how to say it better and why.
One student told me she goes back to those notes after class to review them. That is where the progress happens.
Who these Spanish conversation classes are for
Learners at A2 level and above
To hold a real conversation you need a base: present, past and future tenses, and enough vocabulary to express an opinion. That’s why I recommend A2 or above.
Not sure of your level? Book a trial lesson and I’ll tell you honestly.
If you understand Spanish but freeze when you speak
This is the most common situation I see. You study, you read, you understand a podcast, but when someone asks you something, your mind goes blank.
My classes are a safe space. Making mistakes is part of the plan. We go at your pace, and I never make you feel bad for getting it wrong.
What you will improve with Spanish conversation practice online
Fluency and confidence
You’ll speak with fewer pauses, build longer sentences and recover when you can’t find a word, instead of switching to English.
Natural vocabulary, expressions and pronunciation
You’ll learn how people actually talk in Spain: expressions, fillers, connectors and the words that textbooks leave out. We also work on the sounds that make you harder to understand.
Understanding real Spanish at natural speed
Speaking and listening grow together. In every class you hear Spanish at a natural rhythm, so understanding gets easier too.
1-on-1 Spanish conversation lessons vs. group classes: which is better?
Group classes can be fun and cheaper. But in a group of six, you might speak for ten minutes in a whole hour.
In a one-to-one lesson:
- You speak most of the time.
- Every correction is about your mistakes, not the group’s.
- The topic, the pace and the level are yours.
- You can reschedule without depending on other people’s calendars.
Group classes work well as extra practice. If your goal is to speak better, 1-on-1 is faster. That’s why I only teach this way.

Need to pass the speaking part of the DELE or SIELE?
I’m a certified DELE examiner, so I know what is assessed in the oral exam: fluency, accuracy, range and how you handle the tasks.
We can use conversation classes to practise those tasks. See the DELE preparation page for the full exam path.

What students say about our Spanish conversation classes
25 reviews
Her classes are very dynamic, clear and well structured. She stands out both in oral conversation classes, helping you gain fluency and confidence when speaking, and in DELE exam preparation, thanks to her organised methodology and her deep knowledge of the exam format.
I returned to Spanish after many years without practising and Cristina has been a great help! Super friendly and very stimulating, both in conversation and in the review lessons on various topics. I'm grateful to her because I've refreshed many things I thought I had forgotten. Absolutely recommended!
She always prepares very interesting topics and ideas individually, adapting to each student's level and special needs. Her classes are super interesting and pleasant.
Frequently asked questions about online Spanish conversation classes
What level do I need for Spanish conversation classes?
A2 or above is ideal. You should be able to follow a simple conversation and talk about everyday topics, even if it takes effort. With less than that, the class would be too hard to follow because everything is in Spanish. If you’re unsure, the trial lesson will tell us.
Can I take conversation classes as a complete beginner?
Not with me, because my lessons are fully in Spanish and a beginner would spend the hour lost. I’d rather tell you that now than waste your money. When you reach A2, come back and we’ll start.
Are the conversation lessons in Spanish or in English?
In Spanish from the first minute. I adjust my speed and use simpler words when you need them, but we stay in Spanish. That’s how you build real fluency.
I understand Spanish but I freeze when I speak. Can you help?
Yes, it’s the most common situation I see. You study, read and understand podcasts, but when someone asks you a question your mind goes blank. My classes are a safe space: mistakes are part of the plan, I never make you feel bad for them, and we go at your pace.
Will you correct my mistakes while I speak?
I don’t interrupt every sentence, because that kills fluency. I note your mistakes while you speak and correct the important ones at the right moment. That’s where the progress happens.
Can we talk about my work or my interests?
Yes. You choose the topic: your work, travel, film, cooking, football, current affairs. I bring the vocabulary and structures that topic needs. I also love travel, cinema, books and food from around the world, so we never run out of things to talk about.
How is a 1-on-1 conversation class different from a group class?
In a group of six you might speak for ten minutes in an hour. In a one-to-one lesson you speak most of the time, every correction is about your mistakes and the topic and pace are yours. Group classes can be good extra practice, but if your goal is to speak better, 1-on-1 is faster.
How often should I practise Spanish conversation?
One or two lessons a week works well for most people, with short practice between classes. In the trial lesson I’ll recommend a rhythm based on your level and your goal.
Can conversation classes help me with the speaking part of the DELE or SIELE?
Yes. I’m a DELE examiner certified by the Instituto Cervantes, so I know what is assessed in the oral exam: fluency, accuracy, range and how you handle the tasks. We can use conversation classes to practise exactly that. See my DELE preparation course.
How much do your Spanish conversation classes cost?
A single lesson costs €28, and packs of 10 or 20 lower the price per lesson. Fluency comes from regular practice, so packs suit most students. See the pricing page for details.
