What our DELE preparation course includes
You are not buying a recorded course or a textbook. You get a teacher who works on your exam, your weaknesses and your calendar.
1-on-1 DELE classes online on Google Meet
One hour, just you and me, live. Lessons are 100% in Spanish, so you also practise the language you will need on exam day.
All you need is a computer, a stable connection and headphones.
Practice with real exam tasks and timing
The DELE is not only a language test: it is also a test of method. In class we work through each task type and learn:
- What the task asks and what examiners expect.
- How to split your time between tasks.
- Which phrases and structures score well.
- Where students usually lose points.
As one of my students said, in every class I explain how to approach each task and how long it takes.
Feedback on writing and speaking from a DELE examiner
Reading and listening can be checked with an answer key. Writing and speaking cannot. That’s where an examiner makes the difference.
I review your texts and your spoken answers following the logic of the official criteria, and tell you what to fix first.
Study materials, common mistakes and useful connectors
I share my own materials: expressions, connectors, text structures and a list of typical mistakes per task. You study with them between lessons, and we review them in class.
Choose your DELE level: A2, B1, B2, C1 or C2
Each level has its own demands, tasks and kind of student. Pick yours to see the details.

Not sure which DELE level to take?
Choose the level your goal requires first (a university, an employer, a visa or citizenship process). If you don’t have a requirement, we decide together.
In the trial lesson I check your current level and tell you honestly if you are ready for the level you want, or if another is better for now.
How our DELE exam preparation works
Level check and exam date
We start with a conversation to assess your Spanish and talk about your goal: which level, which exam date, what you need the certificate for. With that, we know how much time we have and what is realistic.
Personalised study plan
I build a plan based on your level, your weak points and the time you have. It says what we work on each week and what you do between lessons.
Weekly classes with homework and feedback
Each class combines three things:
- Exam tasks done under realistic conditions.
- Corrections of your writing and speaking.
- Language work on the grammar and vocabulary that appear in your mistakes.
You get homework, and I give you feedback on it in the next lesson.
Mock exam and final review
Before the exam, we do a timed mock exam. I mark it and we review the results together: what to keep, what to fix and how to manage your time and nerves on the day.
Why prepare for the DELE with a certified examiner
I’m Cristina, a native Spanish teacher from Spain. I know the DELE from the inside:
- DELE examiner certified by the Instituto Cervantes.
- Master’s degree in teaching Spanish as a foreign language (Universidad de La Rioja).
- Instituto Cervantes course on teaching for the SIELE exam.
- More than five years teaching individual and group classes.
What that means for you:
- You learn what examiners reward and what they penalise.
- Your feedback follows real criteria, not opinion.
- You spend your time on what raises your result.
Students I have prepared include learners working towards the DELE C1, a student who passed the DELE A2 and one who reached their goals in the SIELE exam.
I can’t promise a pass, because it depends on you and on exam day. I can promise a clear method and honest feedback.

Save with a pack of 10 or 20 lessons
Preparing for an exam needs regular work over several weeks. Packs lower the price per lesson and let us plan the route to your exam date. See the pricing page.
What’s not included: the exam registration fee
The course covers the preparation, not the exam. You register and pay the exam fee directly with the Instituto Cervantes or an authorised exam centre. For the current registration procedure, see the official DELE registration page.
I’ll help you choose the level and the right moment to register.
What the DELE tests: structure at a glance
The DELE evaluates the four language skills: reading, listening, writing and speaking. Each level has its own tasks, duration and marking system.
- Reading comprehension
- Listening comprehension
- Writing: expression and interaction
- Speaking: expression and interaction
Want the official details? See the DELE levels page on dele.org.
DELE or SIELE: which exam should you prepare for?
Both certify your Spanish, but they work differently and suit different needs.
- DELE: an official diploma from the Instituto Cervantes, with no expiry date. Many students choose it for study, work or nationality-related requirements.
- SIELE: a certificate valid for five years, taken on a computer, which gives you a score from 0 to 1000 on a scale rather than a pass or fail.
If you are unsure, check the requirements of the institution that asks for the certificate. Then tell me and I’ll help you decide. See the SIELE preparation page.
What students say about our DELE preparation
25 reviews
She is helping me prepare for the DELE C1, adapts the classes to my needs and explains everything very well. The classes are very useful and dynamic.
She shares her own materials that make it very clear how to approach any task: common expressions, connectors, typical mistakes to watch out for. Thanks to the classes with her, I feel confident that I will face the DELE C1 exam without stress.
The classes with Cristina are very well prepared. My focus is on taking the DELE test; in each class she brings a different topic to analyse and explains how to do each task of the test and how long each task takes. I am very happy with her classes.
Clear and structured approach for my DELE C1 preparation, I definitely recommend her as a tutor.
She adapts each lesson to my goals and always asks what I want to focus on. She gives useful corrections, detailed feedback and shares useful tips and materials. Edit: I successfully passed my DELE A2 exam! Thank you, Cristina!

Frequently asked questions about DELE preparation courses
What is the DELE and which level should I prepare for?
The DELE is the official diploma of Spanish as a foreign language, issued by the Instituto Cervantes, with levels from A1 to C2. Choose the level your goal requires: ask the university, employer or institution that requests the certificate. If you don’t have a requirement, we decide together after a trial lesson based on your current Spanish.
Which DELE levels do you prepare students for?
A2, B1, B2, C1 and C2, and also the SIELE exam. I’m a DELE examiner certified by the Instituto Cervantes, and I also completed an Instituto Cervantes course on the SIELE. C1 is the level most of my current students prepare for.
Why prepare for the DELE with a certified examiner?
Because you learn what examiners reward and what they penalise. I know the tasks, the timing and the marking criteria, so my feedback follows real criteria and we spend your time on what raises your result. I also hold a Master’s in teaching Spanish as a foreign language and have more than five years of teaching experience.
How does your DELE preparation work?
In four steps: a level check and your exam date; a personalised study plan; weekly one-to-one classes on Google Meet with homework and feedback; and a timed mock exam with a final review. In class we work on exam tasks, corrections of your writing and speaking, and the grammar and vocabulary that appear in your mistakes.
Is your DELE preparation available online?
Yes. All my classes are live and online on Google Meet, from anywhere in the world. The exam itself is taken separately, with the Instituto Cervantes or an authorised centre. You can check the options and dates on the official DELE site.
How long does it take to prepare for the DELE?
It depends on your level, your target and the weeks until your exam, so I won’t give you a magic number. After the level check I give you a realistic estimate and a plan that fits your date. Regular work for several weeks works better than cramming at the end.
Do you offer mock exams and practice tests?
Yes. The final stage of the preparation is a timed mock exam that I mark, followed by a review together. You can also find free official sample papers on my DELE practice exam page.
Is the exam fee included in the course?
No. The preparation covers the classes and the mock exam, not the exam itself. You register and pay the exam fee separately with the Instituto Cervantes or an authorised centre. I’ll help you choose the level and the right moment to register.
Can you guarantee I will pass the DELE?
No, and nobody honest can. What I can promise is a clear method, honest feedback from a certified examiner and practice with every type of task before the day. The result also depends on your work and on exam day.
How much does your DELE preparation cost?
A single lesson costs €28, and packs of 10 or 20 lower the price per lesson. The trial lesson with a level diagnosis lasts 30 minutes and costs €10. See the pricing page for the full breakdown.
