About Cris, Your Spanish Teacher
Hi, I’m Cristina Reyes, but everyone calls me Cris. I was born in the south of Spain and I teach Spanish to adults who want to use it in real life.
How I teach
My classes are a safe space: you can make mistakes, and I’ll show you how to fix them. I adapt every lesson to your interests, your pace and your goal. And I keep things lively, because boredom is the worst enemy of any language learner.
Lessons are one-to-one on Google Meet and fully in Spanish. After each class you receive written corrections of what we covered.
What I have studied and where I am certified
- DELE examiner certified by the Instituto Cervantes.
- Master’s degree in teaching Spanish as a foreign language (Universidad de La Rioja).
- University expert course in teaching Spanish online.
- Instituto Cervantes course for the SIELE exam. I am not a SIELE examiner.
- More than five years teaching individual and group classes.
I have also travelled the world as a backpacker, so I know what it takes to communicate across cultures.
What my students say
I have 25 reviews from adult learners. You can read them on the reviews page or on my Preply profile.
Who I can help
Adults with a base in Spanish (A2 or above) who want to speak with more fluency, who feel stuck at an intermediate level, or who are preparing for the DELE or SIELE. If you are starting from zero, I’m probably not the right fit yet, and I’d rather tell you now.
