Format
Structure of the DELE C2 exam
The DELE C2 has only three papers, not four.
Language use, reading and listening (105 min)
Merges three skills into a single paper.
Integrated written skills (150 min)
You integrate several sources (audio + texts) into complex texts.
Integrated oral skills (20 + 30 min)
A monologue from several texts, a formal conversation and negotiation. Mixed marking (40% holistic + 60% analytic).
Marking
How the DELE C2 is marked
No groups: each of the three papers is assessed separately and you need "Pass" in each. No compensation: each paper is eliminatory. It is the strictest system in the DELE.
Difficulty
Why C2 is the hardest in the framework
It assesses regional varieties (Mexico, Argentina, the Caribbean…), demands extreme lexical precision and comprehension of abstract texts at native speed.

The official fee is around €233. Only two sessions a year (May and November). More at examenes.cervantes.es.

Method
How we prepare you to pass the DELE C2
Our lessons are taught by an official examiner accredited by the Instituto Cervantes. We work on the integrated skills, train varieties of Spanish from Spain and Latin America with you, and run full mock exams marked paper by paper.
